Tonight the assembly passed, by an overwhelming majority, the five year strategic plan for the UPUA. The Internal Development Committee intends that this document will serve as a roadmap for future assemblies.

The elections commissioners for 2008 were confirmed tonight at the Assembly meeting. The team is both diverse and knowledgeable in their respective areas and I am confident that they will deliver results.

They are as follows:
